Yoga Teacher & Yoga Therapist Trainings

Yoga2Sleep 16-Hour Yoga Teacher Training (Y2S-YTT)

The Y2S-YTT was created as a result of Pamela’s challenging sleep journey and from numerous requests for an intensive discovery experience to learn about the causes of and solutions for sleep deprivation and insomnia using yogic philosophy and practices. She will cover five main areas throughout this training: physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and environmental; they all overlap and weave into each other. There are also other stages to include (but are not limited to) social, cultural, financial, professional and behavioral stress.

“I am so happy to have spent the day with Pam and learned more tools for self care and gentle ways to work with others.  I appreciate the way she kept the material interesting and invited everyone to contribute. Teaching us by including a few short and valuable videos, as well.  Pam’s self care advice was great! Sleep is so underrated as we learn more, and thanks for getting it out into our world and sharing life experiences!  My favorite take home was Pam’s positive approach to helping others move forward and consider changes with a “good, better, best” strategy. Helping people in their own time, a win-win perhaps for those various degrees of motivation that we all are…  LOVE!” ~ Kathy B., Yoga Teacher

The Y2S-YTT is designed to cover the following:
• developing sacred spaces
• specific asana practices
• developing healthy sleep habits

The Yoga2Sleep Rx Yoga Therapist Training will cover:

• developing sacred spaces

Military and Veteran Caregivers Yoga Teacher Training

According to a 2015 RAND study, there are 5.5 million military and veteran caregivers in the U.S. today. To this end, we know that veterans and military families have experienced inordinate stress throughout this past decade. “Between 50-60 percent spend at least 10 hours per week providing care” (Best Practices for Yoga with Veterans, YSC/Omega, 2016). And spouses can provide care many hours beyond that. As the spouse and caregiver to a Purple Heart OIF veteran, Pam knows this through personal experience. Military and veteran caregiver needs are special and different. Military and Veteran Caregivers YTT is a great resource for yoga teachers to offer adequate support to this “hidden” population.

Participants of this 6-hour online course will learn what it means to be a military and veteran caregiver and how to teach yoga to them in ways that: (1) offer emotional and mental support, (2) encourage self care, (3) build community, (4) build resiliency, and (5) navigate the challenges and stresses of their daily lives.

2020 Dates: COMING SOON. Investment is $107. Yoga Alliance CEUs available. Sign up HERE.
